Brings home the bacon.

Hey, to the guy complaining about the preloader: shut the hell up and rate the animation, not the damn lack of coding.

Spak, brilliant as ever. Thomas Dolby (one of my favs) really gave you that creative edge, and you brought the music to life. You have an original and fantastic style, and you're def. gonna go places with animation. Great work.

Keep going.

Great work with the fluidity of the animation. Cinematics are improving, but your backgrounds could use some more detail. Overall, very fun to watch.

I look forward to another larger installment.

Yes!

It's about time a new one came out. Glad to see you're making good use of all the music. To think that Pedo Bear inspired this shit...

I wonder if anyone can guess the pieces. :)

Behold.

Bizerk owns. Thanks.

Brilliant.

Spak owns everyone on Newgrounds.

Ok well...

Being a HUGE fan of Battle Royale myself, you should at LEAST read the book as well to help with this so-called tribute. I mean wtf, Takeshi Kitano (my favorite Japanese director) isn't even called Takeshi in the movie, and he isn't anywhere in the novel. The attempt was good, but you are not knowledgable enough to create a good Flash re-imagination. You could have at least used songs from the soundtrack, which I can glady give you. Good idea with the class roster check-off...the only thing I found creative at all.

Tendo was shot in the neck anyways...unless you wanted that to be your own style.

Ok ok, so it was a tribute to the MOVIE...but it was OFF. Way off. But look at the bright side; you may have inspired me to create a Battle Royale tribute with the "TRIBUTE" aspect more emphasized. Nice art, they're not Japanese (from what I can SEE) but good art anyways. Lastly, at least spell the title right if you want people to take you seriously. Glad to see another Battle Royale fan though.

Creative!

Lots of angles, and good storytelling value. I used to play Counter-Strike with Cycerin so I know his music fairly well, and you used it flawlessly. Most people say quality is substituted for length, but while your artwork isn't super eye-candy (and most people will degrade you for that), the ideas and animation are entertaining and stylish. Nice ending too, shows that you take yourself very seriously...o_O.
Your style is a breath of fresh air from all these dull animations I've been seeing dumped here.

wow! D3vilsheep! first of all, Proto is in my favorites list, second of all, I'm very glad you liked it! It's good to have a newgrounds artist with a good reputation liking my flash!

Genius.

I can see where Robocop inspired this animation, and it makes me love it even more. Absolutely hilarious! I don't know where you could go for a series, but I'm sure it could work. Keep it up!

Damn.

Welcome back, hehe. Congrats on an awesome animation, it was very entertaining. My only complaint would be the overused Don Davis/Juno Reactor music. But whatever. Keep it up!

Haha!

You shouldn't have. I'm glad Proto inspired some things...
I really enjoyed this. And I do love Dies Irae (the music)...nice work with that.

DanPaladin responds:

haha, the pleasure's all mine! Please finish Proto, if that was the intent with the to-be-continued text!
